'Turbinia' (1894)

Scale: 1:24. A full hull model of the steam yacht 'Turbinia' (1894), made entirely in wood with wood and metal fittings, and realistically painted and detailed. The hull is painted pink below the waterline and pale blue-grey above. Hull fittings include three long propeller shafts, inclined at an angle of about ten degrees, each with three propellers along their length, all gold-plated. The deck, its superstructures and primary fittings are depicted in unpainted light-coloured wood. Fittings include combined forward deckhouse and bridge with a single mast; single inclined funnel; hatch; amidships superstructure; flat-roofed skylight; and ship
