Undress coat - cuff detail, Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1825-1827

Undress coat of Vice-Admiral Sir Edward Codrington. Double-breasted tail coat of fine blue wool with two rows of gilt brass buttons (Flag Officer's pattern: outer edge is a raised rope motif which encircles a flat raised border, inside is a crown above a foul anchor above laurel leaves on a lined ground) and a sharply notched roll collar with deep revers and a cut-away front. There are decorative embroidered blue twist button-holes on the lapels. The coat has sleeves 'a la imbecile' with a very full, gathered shoulder narrowing to a tight cuff. At the top of each shoulder are four eyelets used to secure epaulettesR. Norton

All products are printed in the UK, using the latest digital presses and a giclée printmaking process.

We only use premium branded inks, and colours are independently verified to last between 100 and 200 years.

Delivery & returns

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.

Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.

Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.

We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
