View of an island in Scotland
This sketch of a 'view of an island in Scotland' would very probably have been done by Louis Herschel from life on a family holiday. It is signed by the artist. Other sketches by Louisa of the Scottish coast suggest this was one of a series done on the same holiday in August 1854.
