View of London from Greenwich Park
People enjoying the views of London from Greenwich Park. The River Thames and St. Paul's Cathedral are visible in the distance. The spire of St Alfege's, Greenwich is in the centre and the tower of St Nicholas, Deptford to the left. The mills of Millwall on the west side of the Isle of Dogs are also clearly shown. The fact that only a few chimneys on the west side of Greenwich Hospital (now the Old Royal Naval College) can be seen indicates that the viewpoint is from the hill on the west side of the Park, adjacent to Maze Hill.
