'War Master' (Br, 1918) at moorings
This photograph was originally identified, both on the Nautical Photo Agency negative and the print from Vickers already in the Collection,
as the 'War Ruler'. However, the War Ruler' was not launched until 1919 and was completed as 'Gasconier', so would be unlikely to be wearing camouflage or be armed as the negative shows. 'War Master' is the only other of the type to be built by Vickers.
