Watch
Pocket watch in 18ct gold pair case. Thirty hour duration, single train, gilt metal, four pillar fusee movement with verge escapement. Pierced and engraved balance cock with grotesque mask. Steel balance with blued-steel spiral balance spring. Tompion style regulator with silver regulating disc engraved with Arabic numerals 1-6 interspaced with arrowhead markers. Engraved on potence plate with 'Wm Plumley', 'London' and '5007'. Convex white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals and dot minute marks. Gold arrowhead hands. 18ct gold pair case hallmarked 'London 1767-1768' with makers incuse stamp 'I.W' (John Wright?). Outer case engraved with the stern of the 'San Josef'. Small slim pendant with stirrup bow. Convex glass over dial. Dark blue leather-covered rectangular fitted case with hinged lid. Lid lined with blue satin. Base lined with blue velvet. Circular blue velvet covered watch retainer. The watch is believed to have once belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The watch comes complete with a key and a gold fob seal set with an oval cornelian engraved with the depiction of a classical female figure, see JEW0026.

We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
