Waterline model; Miniature model
Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with a light brown boot topping along the waterline and a thin gold line just below deck level. The upperworks and accommodation superstructure are painted a creamy white whilst the decks are left in a natural wood finish. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single rigged mast with three pairs of cargo derricks as well as a pair of smaller masts with single derricks, all of which serving three grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with seven pairs of doubled banked lifeboats rigged to davits, seven pairs of single lifeboats below decks and two pairs either side of the after mast. There is a large accommodation block with grey deck above on which is situated the three tall circular funnels painted a yellow/buff with black tops, indicating a vessel owned by the White Star Line. At the stern, there is another large rigged mast with two pairs of cargo derricks and a smaller pair of cargo masts with derricks serving two small grey covered cargo hatches. Either side of the masts are five pairs of lifeboats rigged in davits on raised boats decks. The number "2" is written on the underside of the hull.
