Just forward of the bridge is a pair of lifeboats rigged in davits. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with three pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits either side of a pair of tall, oval-shaped funnels which are painted red with a white strip and black top and a white circle with a blue star in the middle which denotes that this vessel was owned by the White Star Line. At the stern, there is another large single mast, together with four smaller cargo masts and derricks serving three small grey covered cargo hatches. The number "130" is written on the underside of the hull.
