Webley Mark II** revolver
Twin hard rubber plaques are applied to either side of the butt to form a grip. A ring is secured to the tip of the butt. Solid frame made in one with the barrel. It is fitted with a six chambered cylinder and is double action. The barrel is rifled with pronounced foresight. The calibre is 0.455in. Stamped on the revolver is the serial number '50772' and a naval arrow. The Webley Mark II** Navy revolver was fitted with a six inch barrel in place of the standard four inch type. The modification was introduced 5 June 1915.
