West India Import dock, Poplar
Print entitled 'West India Import Dock, Poplar'. 'Plate 157' appears below Shepherd's name, lower left. This is an illustration for a London topographical series, for which he and others of his family were well-known, but which one remains to be clarified. This is the northern basin of the West India Docks, completed in 1802, the southern one being the export dock.
