Copper plate
A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-1848. A square piece of copper sheet found in an Inuit cache at Cape Maria Louisa by the Schwatka Search Expedition 1878-1879. The piece of metal has a square hole in the centre, two sides are bent over and there are nail holes along one edge. The second edge has two holes with a piece of string threaded through, the corners are cut at an angle.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
