Contents Note: Shows tracks for April to October 1792 and May 1793, Inset: Entrance of Columbia River [ca. 1:300 000 (bar)], Inset: Grays Harbour [ca. 1:150 000 (bar)], Inset: Port Discovery [ca. 1:150 000 (bar)]. Inscribed 'A chart showing part of the coast of N.W. America, with the tracks of His Majesty's Sloop Discovery and Armed Tender Chatham; commanded by George Vancouver Esqr. and prepared under his immediate inspection by Lieut. Joseph Baker'. Placenames give a flavour of the voyage: Disappointment, Destruction, Flattery, Deception, Desolation, Caution, Protection and Friendly Cove.
