Bone china plate
A bone china plate, decorated with a coloured portrait of Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (1921-). The head and shoulders of the Duke are shown; he is wearing naval uniform and facing right, two warships are seen in the background. The rim of the plate is coloured maroon with a gilt outer and inner edges. The maker's name is printed on the base.
