Oval cameo contained within a gilt metal setting. The setting comes complete with a pin attachment at the back. The cameo depicts a figure wearing a helmet. Inscribed on the back of the brooch is the name and date 'Emma Hamilton 1797', which presumably refers to Emma, Lady Hamilton (circa 1765-1815).
