Earthenware figure of a sailor
Earthenware figure of an English sailor leaning against a gun on a carriage with legs crossed. This design is sometimes entitled 'READY AND WILLING'. The figure has a beard but no moustaches and wears a yellow straw hat, blue and white striped shirt, black belt and neckerchief and white trousers. The white base and belt buckle are picked out in gilding. The hollow figure has and enclosed base and flat back.
