Equipment model; Davit model
Scale: Unknown. A model of a davit mounted onto a frame baseboard, all of which is made in wood and either stained or painted a uniform black colour. The davit arms are mounted on two vertical posts supported by a lower cross-piece and a lintel with rounded ends. A pair of canvas strops have been attached to the two davit arms by metal eyes. The model appears to be incomplete, and a quantity of fine rope is attached to one of the posts. A pair of paper labels (now illegible) are attached to the baseboard.
