Equipment model; Engine model
Scale: 1:48. Working model of the compound steam engine for the cargo vessel 'Almora' (1873). It is largely made of brass and steel, with the cylinders insulated by a wooden jacket. The engine can be turned either manually via a wheel on the crankshaft or by live steam. It is mounted onto a Chatham storage base.
