Fragments of a barrel hoop
Relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-48: a strip of barrel hoop, strip of wrought iron and three pieces of irons, found on Montreal Island, by the McClintock Search Expedition 1857-1859. Francis Leopold McClintock and Johann Carl Peterson revisited this site on 16 May 1859.
