A rare view of life on board the largest paddle steamer in the world, Brunel's 'Great Eastern'. Several passengers promenade on her deck while others relax in deck chairs. Robert Dudley - the artist - also illustrated the 'Army and Navy Almanacs', but he is best known for his pictures of the 'Great Eastern'.
