A contemporary full hull model of a funeral catafalque (1806). Model is decked and equipped. It was probably made by a prisoner of war and is an interpretation of a large three-decker, on which is carried the ornately decorated coffin and sarcophagus. It may have been an original ship model made as a POW style and was later converted, possibly by the original maker, by the addition of the canopy and coffin to represent Nelson's funeral car.
