German cutlass, the hilt of the cutlass consists of a steel knuckle bow. The steel guard is much closer to the grip at the pommel end of the cutlass than it is at the crosspiece. The steel quillon is very long and curved. The wooden grip is secured in place by three pairs of rivets. The steel blade is curved, 24mm from straight.
