Globe x-ray
Terrestrial table globe. Geographical details on the sphere show loxodromes for 32 compass points. The Strait of Magellan is labelled 'Fretum Magellanicum'. The Strait of Ie Maire is still absent. There is a hypothetical southern continent, which is labelled 'TERRA AUSTRALIS INCOGNITA'. There are notes on four unexplored regions, for example, in Asia, a comment on New Guinea and one in South America. There are notes on discoveries around the North Pole 'Nova Zembla detecta 1596' and in North America 'AMERICA SEPTENTRIONALIS a Christophoro Columb. 1492 detecta'.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
