Globe x-ray
Terrestrial table globe. Geographical details on the sphere include marked and labelled locations of the antipodes for five cities, for example 'Londini', 'Norimbergae' and 'Viennae'. Tasmania is not yet drawn as an island. The USA is labelled 'REPUBLICAE UNITAE'. There is a note on Cook's death: 'Cap.t Cook ab incolis interfectus est d. 14 Febr. 1779'.
The tracks of Cook are extensively labelled with dates and a note. The tracks of three other explorers are also shown, including, for example, Hearn 'Via Hearnii Anno 1771'. A total of 14 notes on discoveries are listed according to six different locations, including, for example, close to New Guinea 'Terra visa per Mr de Bougainville'. Seven oceans are named.

Delivery & returns
We print everything to order so delivery times may vary but all framed pictures are despatched within 5-7 days via courier or recorded mail.
Due to the coronovirus pandemic and Brexit situation, current shipping times may be longer, particularly for destinations outside the UK.
Delivery to the UK is £10 for a single framed print.
We will happily replace your order if everything isn’t 100% perfect.
