The house flag of London ; Rochester Trading Co. A rectangular red flag with a white crescent near the hoist. The flag is made of a wool and synthetic fibre bunting with a cotton hoist and is machine sewn. A rope and toggle is attached. The London & Rochester Trading Co. founded in 1907 used Crescent Shipping as a trade name until 1986 when they officially became Crescent Shipping Ltd. The company were involved in local coastal trade owning Thames barges and lighters. In 1989 they absorbed tanker owners Bowker & King Ltd.
