Inscription below empty cartouche at a southern continent
Terrestrial table globe. Geographical details on the sphere include loxodromes for 32 compass points. There is a hypothetical southern continent, which is labelled. Extensive notes on discoveries are listed according to region, for example, around the North Pole, in North America, near the Hudson Bay and in South America. In Asia there are notes with a picture of the Great Wall of China, which is labelled. In the south polar region there is a rectangular cartouche which is plotted against the latitude. In addition there are two circular cartouches, one with data on the climates and the other representing a scheme of the zones.
