Medal commemorating the Battle of La Hogue, 1692. Obverse: Small bust of King William III with shields of England and Holland on a pedestal inscribed with 'WILH . III . ANGL . REX .' within a circular temple, dedicated 'MEMORIAE AETERNAE' (To the eternal memory). Roof supported by four columns, the outer ones ornamented with naval trophies. Reverse: Fame and Victory, with wreath and naval trophy, supporting a tablet; History and Time, below, inscribing the lost ships of France.
