Medal commemorating the Suez Canal Clearance 1956-57. Obverse: Suez Canal Company Offices, Port Said, a sheer lighter raising a wreck in front, in the foreground a chain cable being broken by the hook of a crane, its sheave decorated with the badge of the United Nations. Reverse: Salvage vessel and sheer lighter working on a wreck, inscription below: 'SUEZ CANAL CLEARANCE DEC. 1956 - MAY 1957.'
