(caricature) Three Greenwich Pensioners, one with a peg-leg, disputing the points of a sea action round a tavern table, using the broken stems of clay pipes as ships (a common factor in various similar prints). Two sit on plain Windsor chairs, one stands, a seated civilian looks on and keeps out of the argument, and the landlord enters on the right bearing more ale to fuel what looks like being an increasingly acrimonious dispute.
