The Italian fleet torpedo boat 'Lince' at Venice, Italy
With her awnings erected on deck the 'Lince' may be paying a goodwill visit to Venice on, or shortly after, her commissioning in 1938. Her career was short-lived - the submarine 'HMS Ultor' sank her in the Gulf of Taranto on 28 August 1943.
