Universal equinoctial ring dial, with case
Universal equinoctial ring dial for all latitudes, with fitted box. The dial has a tooled red leather case, lined with red baize, which contains a table of the equation of time that seems to be contemporary. The engraving on the dial is of a high quality and it is very similar in design to AST0408. It is signed 'Dolland London' on the obverse side of the meridian ring. The signature probably represents Peter Dolland who is known to have made sundials.Dollond
