Vase
One of a pair of cylindrical spill vases (see AAA4736) standing on a slightly wider foot. A white body is painted in imitation of grey marble. On the front, is a panel with canted corners on which is a grey, stipple transfer-print of a girl with flowing hair, dancing with a tambourine in her raised hand, based on a drawing of Emma, Lady Hamilton (circa 1765-1815). The marbled area has gilded borders and there are two gilt bands on the foot.
