Warship; frigate

Scale: Unknown. A model of a Royal Naval Frigate made in plaster with wood, metal, paper, and cotton fittings which has been realistically painted. The model depicts the vessel at 13.40 on 21 October 1805 at the height of the Battle of Trafalgar and the ship is shown undamaged. The ship is three masted and ship rigged on all three masts. All sails are set. A white ensign (mostly missing) is flying from the peak of the gaff and a union flag is flying from a halliard, between the fore and main masts. The hull is painted black with a white stripe along the gun deck, white on the deck, and black on the deck fittings.
